Part-145 Production Assistant Planner

Bravo Aircraft Technical Services (BATS) forms part of 3PLEX GROUP and is the first locally established stand-alone Part-145 MRO, approved under the Maltese Authority and providing services to its customers with line maintenance and base limited to paint. The selected candidate will cooperate with the BATS team in any MRO environment on the client’s aircraft, as contractually agreed.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Receiving requests and communicating with customers for quotes
  • Reviewing customer work requests and ensuring that it is within the scope of work and reviewed against CAMO, BATS MOE & BATS Internal Procedure requirements in liaison with the Maintenance Manager
  • Ensuring the availability of all necessary personnel, tools, equipment, material, maintenance data, parts and facilities, and environment conditions for the safe completion of the maintenance work
  • Planning of maintenance tasks i.a.w. the roster, taking into account human performance limitations
  • Coordination for the completion of customer-required training with production and informing Quality/MM accordingly
  • Raising quotes, work orders, PO, SO, invoices and assign resources in MRX
  • Reviewing tech-log pages/customer documentation received from FSEs & document in MRX
  • Reviewing daily/monthly reports and work orders received from approved line stations and saving them in SharePoint
  • Liaising with the MM for the coordination of AOG requests
  • Maintaining customer database
  • Communicating with and organising third party support
  • Updating the aircraft slot plan for line and base
  • Monitoring of the work progress
  • Raising additional task cards as required during the work progress
  • Ensuring that work performed is complete in MRX and documentation is compliant with customer requirements
  • Printing and scanning all work related documents
  • Providing work package to the customer
  • Ensuring that hard-copy record keeping is maintained for dirty-fingerprints only
  • Reviewing total MH to be invoiced with the MM/AM
  • Issuing invoices from SO/WO to the Accounts department for approval and distribution to the customer

Qualifications

  • Part-145 environment experience as an unlicensed mechanic
  • CAT A license will be considered as an asset
  • O levels in the English language
  • Computer literate
  • Knowledge of using the Part-145 maintenance system
  • Knowledge in using MS Office
  • In possession of a local driving license
  • Regarding the skills the usual words
