Strategic Advisor

We are seeking a reliable, highly organised, and self-motivated Strategic Advisor to join our growing team. This role is critical in providing high-level guidance to the CEO, helping to shape long-term strategy, optimise decision-making, and ensure sustainable organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Guidance

  • Advise the CEO and leadership team on long-term objectives, market positioning, and competitive strategy.

  • Identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends that may impact the business.

Decision Support

  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform critical executive decisions.

  • Act as a sounding board for new initiatives, investments, and partnerships.

Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Support the development of prospect presentations and marketing materials.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders.

Operational & Organisational Alignment

  • Collaborate with senior management to ensure strategies are actionable and aligned with company objectives.

  • Assist with workforce planning, resource allocation, and organisational design.

Governance & Compliance

  • Provide oversight of compliance and regulatory matters, particularly in highly regulated industries such as finance, aviation, or energy.

  • Ensure strategic initiatives adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to evaluate complex data, trends, and scenarios.

  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of market conditions and sector-specific challenges.

  • Communication: Strong presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

  • Problem-Solving: Creative, scenario-driven approaches to complex business challenges.

  • Leadership Presence: Trusted advisor capable of operating effectively at board and executive levels.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in senior leadership, consulting, or advisory roles.

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate strategy, investment, or operations.

Education

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.

Track Record

  • Proven success guiding organisations through periods of growth, transformation, or complex market environments.

Working Time and Employment Conditions
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

  • Full-time, permanent position.

  • Availability for domestic and international travel as required.

  • Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

  • Operates as a trusted advisor, with influence across the organisation but without direct line management responsibility.
