Finance Manager – Strategy, Business Performance & Transformation

3Plex Group is an international aviation services group headquartered in Malta, providing EASA Part CAMO, Part 21 Design, Part 145, and Part 147 Training services to aviation organisations worldwide. With operations across multiple jurisdictions and a growing international footprint, the Group supports a diverse portfolio of customers through specialist technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and operational excellence.

As the Group continues to expand, we are seeking a commercially minded and proactive Finance Manager to act as a strategic partner to the Directors and senior leadership team. This role is ideally suited to a finance professional who enjoys using financial insight to influence business decisions, improve business performance, support international growth, and drive long-term value creation.

Unlike traditional finance management roles, the primary focus of this position is not day-to-day accounting operations, which are managed by the Senior Finance Executive, but rather business performance, profitability, forecasting, financial planning, cost optimisation, governance, and strategic decision-making across the Group.

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager will provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight across the Group, partnering with Directors and senior management to support sustainable growth, improve profitability, and strengthen overall business performance.

The successful candidate will identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, optimise costs, enhance cashflow management, and maximise tax efficiencies across the Group’s operations and jurisdictions, while ensuring appropriate financial controls, governance standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained.

The role will support the Group’s continued expansion by providing robust financial analysis, business planning, investment appraisal, and commercial decision support for new markets, entities, partnerships, and growth initiatives.

The Finance Manager will also lead continuous improvement initiatives, including finance transformation, automation, reporting enhancements, and process development, ensuring the finance function remains scalable, efficient, and aligned with the Group’s evolving needs.
