Finance Manager – Group Finance & Transformation

3PLEX GROUP is a well-established Malta-based group of companies providing EASA Part CAMO, Part 21 Design, Part 145, and Part 147 Training services to a diverse portfolio of aviation organisations worldwide.

As we continue to grow and support our customers through our experienced and dedicated team, we are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and proactive Finance Manager on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy within agreed priorities and governance framework, demonstrate strong financial acumen, and play a key role in supporting the Group’s financial operations and strategic objectives.

Role purpose

The Finance Manager will play a central role in modernising and professionalising the Group’s finance function, ensuring it evolves in line with the Group’s rapid growth and increasing operational complexity.

In addition to overseeing core finance operations and compliance, the role will drive improved structure, automation (including appropriate use of AI-enabled tools), financial visibility, and best practices across the Group, acting as a trusted financial partner to senior management while remaining hands-on in a small, developing finance function.

In the first 12 months, the primary focus will be on stabilising and strengthening core finance operations, improving visibility and controls, and developing team capability. Transformation, automation, and systems improvements will be introduced progressively, prioritised in line with business needs, capacity, and agreed investment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional to join a dynamic aviation group and contribute to its ongoing success.

  • Act as a commercial finance partner, translating financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Lead credit control, cashflow management, and forecasting activities, ensuring financial insight supports operational continuity and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure the accurate application of statutory deductions, benefits, overtime, leave balances, and payroll adjustments, coordinating closely with HR to resolve discrepancies.
